TensorFlow

TensorFlow is Google Brain's second generation system. Version 1.0.0 was released on February 11, 2017. While the reference implementation runs on single devices, TensorFlow can run on multiple CPUs and GPUs.

The name TensorFlow derives from the operations that such neural networks perform on multidimensional data arrays. These arrays are referred to as "tensors".

OpenCV

Officially launched in 1999, the OpenCV project was initially an Intel Research initiative to advance CPU-intensive applications, part of a series of projects including real-time ray tracing and 3D display walls.

The first alpha version of OpenCV was released to the public at the IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition in 2000, and five betas were released between 2001 and 2005.

CoreML

A trained model is the result of applying a machine learning algorithm to a set of training data. The model makes predictions based on new input data.

Core ML is optimized for on-device performance, which minimizes memory footprint and power consumption.
